During the 2000's a passenger and freight ferry ran from Rosyth to Zeebrugge in Belgium taking 17hrs for the trip. Sadly, the
passenger service has now stopped. The ferry route was taken over by NorfolkLine during its final months. A southbound ferry is seen
passing the island in a view from Kirkcaldy.
