South Queensferry
Title: South Queensferry
Description: South Queensferry is so named due to the ferry link with Fife which existed here until the building of the Forth Bridges. King Malcolm III granted free passage at the 'Queens Ferry' for pilgrims on their way to St Andrews and this link eventually became a car ferry until 1964. It is also an historic little Burgh with the famous Hawes Inn featuring in 'Kidnapped' by Robert Louis Stevenson.
