Description: The Motherwell Heritage Centre opened in 1996 and enables the vistor to explore the history of the Motherwell area and learn the history of the people who made Motherwell so famous during the industrial era. A research area also allows family history to be exlored via local parish and census records including newspapers from as far back as the 1800s. There are excellent views from the tower.
