Introduction to Argyll
	If a multitude of islands are what you're looking for, Argyll is the place to visit. Oban, shown left, is the major destination where ferries will carry you to many islands such as the Isle of Mull and the Inner Hebrides. In the south of the region, holiday destinations such as Dunoon and Rothesay are easily reached from the Glasgow area.
Some of the many famous islands in Argyll include Staffa, shown right, Iona, Bute, Jura, Islay and Mull. Fingal's cave on Staffa can also be easily reached by boat from Iona and Mull.
