|Introduction to Aberdeen|
Aberdeen is the oil capital of Scotland where more helicopter flights use its airport than any other around
the world. It also has direct ferry links to the furthest north of Scotland - the Islands of Shetland.
It is also known as the Granite City due to style of buildings, such as the City Chambers shown below.
|Being on the north east coast, the city has a busy harbour and extensive seafront which although very sunny, is subject to the North Sea winds, but is ideal for bracing walks!|
