Strathpeffer - Station |
| Description: |
Strathpeffer was to be a key station on the Inverness to Kyle railway - one of the most
scenic in the world. However, a local landowner prevented access to the town so the line was
diverted into the hills instead. Later a branch line was built with this fine station at
the end of the line. The branch eventually closed with the station now an arts centre and
visitor attraction.
