Title: Glenfinnan Monument
Description: The Glenfinnan Monument was built in 1815 and is owned by the National Trust for Scotland. The monument marks the point at which the last Jacobite Rising started in 1745 when Bonnie Prince Charlie came ashore. At the top is a kilted highlander. There are excellent views of the surrounding highland scenary with a visitor centre explaining the history.
