Description: Kirkcaldy Station comprises a newish building opened in 1991 which replaced a 1960s structure destroyed by fire. This is the main entrance on the south bound side for trains on the East Coast railway line to Edinburgh, London and south west England.

There are also local Fife circle services via Cowdenbeath and Dunfermline. Behind the station can be seen the Museum and Art Gallery with the spire of St. Bryce Kirk beyond.
