Paxton House
Title: Paxton House
Description: Paxton House, just across the border from Berwick-upon-Tweed, is famous for its art collection, the largest of any other house or castle in Scotland. This is primarily due to its links with the National Galley of Scotland. The house itself is one of the finest 18th century Palladian houses and was built in 1758. As well as paintings there are extensive furniture collections including the largest number of Chippendale items in Scotland.
