The Black Creek Pioneer Village, in the northern
suburbs of Toronto, contains a wide range of old buildings rescued from around the country. Based on
an existing farmstead started in 1816, the 19th-century village now contains about 40 buildings, all furnished for the 1860s
and many containing costumed guides. This picture shows the Tinsmith Shop, from 1850.
