Introduction to Guelph
Guelph is an important University town north west of Toronto. Founded in 1827 the centre boasts this fine Church, shown right, on a hill overlooking the town. The University has been in Guelph for over 125 years and has the largest Scottish archive outside of Scotland.
	Running through Guelph is the Speed River which offers many riverside walks and sailing opportunities. To the north and west of Guelph lies the prime farming areas of Ontario.
